A non-profitable charitable trust, SKAD Care Foundation (SCF) came into an organization that undertakes research in various socio-economic fields for sustainable growth and to establish cooperation with agencies, institutions, and research centers at regional, national, and global levels. SCF conducts activities that create awareness and signify the importance of research in the formulation, development, and implementation of socio-economic policies. Currently, we have undertaken research projects on various topics which include eco-bricks- solutions to single-use plastic, senior citizens, education of slum children, etc. The main strategies of our foundation are building greater research capacity, achieving research excellence in fields of national importance, creating a supportive environment for research, and disseminating knowledge by promoting academic research.
SCF aims to create and promote a culture of original and independent research with a focus on policies regarding the sustainable development of society. We not only wish to provide a platform for researchers but also examine the applicability of policies on the ground. To aid the same, we intend to form a network of research institutes and organizations. We aim to raise awareness through a multi-pronged approach, through digital mediums, such as webinars, by organizing public lectures, debates, and seminars, through one-on-one campaigns as well. Our objectives are only to create a well-informed public, find feasible solutions for the issues that plague our society as well as equip the people with the tools to access these solutions. To achieve our goals, we range from providing capacity-building training to undertaking specialized research, to establishing and managing educational institutions for various disciplines. We aspire to create an impact on the leaders and innovators of today and tomorrow.
